Hi! My name is Astrid. I’m a graduate from the University of British Columbia (Class of 2014) and from New York University’s Summer Publishing Institute, where I attended a Post-Graduate summer course in publishing.

I’m a 22 year-old who spends her free time either on fashion or food blogs, and who used to carry magazines in her backpack(instead of class books) all through high school.

The Vanilla Tee is where my two passions for food and fashion merge. I will not only share with you my own adventures through the fashion capitals of the world, but I’ll also hopefully inspire you to travel and go wherever your heart will take you — whether that’s Paris or the kitchen!

After growing up and living in so many different countries and cities, my heart and passions first led me to New York City (a city I’d always dreamed of living in) and now they’re leading me to London, and a whole new continent. This is my new adventure and I’m thrilled to have you reading along − here goes nothing!
